SPECIAL INTEREST

Stock Vehicles: An automobile that has not been modified from its original factory configuration. Anything available on the exact year and model of the vehicle as standard or optional equipment, as installed on the factory assembly line, as well as standard OEM identical replacement parts are acceptable.

Modified Vehicles: Any vehicle that has been changed from its original manufactured or "stock" condition. This includes changes in engine or drive train which were not available in the original manufactured year, increase in horsepower, or custom paint and/or decals. Generally, safety-related modifications such as steering, brakes or tires and wheels are not considered modifications.


Scores

Scores are tabulated based on the following criteria:

POSSIBLE TOTAL OF 20 POINTS PER CATEGORY                            

  1. EXTERIOR: PAINT, LAMPS, BRIGHT WORK, TRIM, AND DETAILING
  2. DRIVE TRAIN: WHEELS, TIRES, OVERALL APPEARANCE OF UNDERCARRIAGE
  3. INTERIOR: STEREO EQUIP., DASH, LAYOUT, COVERINGS, SPECIALTY ITEMS
  4. ENGINE: INNER FENDERS, FIRE WALL, WIRING, ENGINE COMPONENTS                                                                              
  5. CUSTOMIZATION OR RESTORATION: ORIGINALITY, WORKMANSHIP, EFFECTIVENESS, AND APPEAL OF CUSTOMIZATION; ACCURACY, WORKMANSHIP, AUTHENTICIY, AND APPEAL OF RESTORATION.

BONUS: SAFETY, HAZZARD, AND EMERGENCY SUPPLIES (MAX 10 PTS.)

Awards

Best in Show Awards

The vehicles with the top three overall scores will receive Best in Show, First Runner Up, and Second Runner Up trophies. All other vehicles besides these three are then allowed to compete in the class in which they have entered.



Individual Class Awards

First, Second, and Third place trophies will be awarded to the top three vehicles in each class based on their scores. Best in Show awards recipients are not included in class competition.



Top 20 Cars Awards

The top 20 vehicles based on overall scores, including Best in Show awards recipients, will receive a Top 20 Cars plaque.



Special Awards

All participants, regardless of scores, are eligible for the following special awards plaques:
